Click the left mouse button over the tuning peg corresponding to the note you want tuned..The note will loop as long as you leave the mouse over the dot.Moving the mouse from the peg will stop the note from ringing.

It is best to start with the high E,as higher notes are easier to recognize.Turning the machine heads on your guitar clockwise will, raise the pitch, and anticlockwise, lower the pitch. If you feel you are not close to the note,it is better to detune your guitar and work up to the pitch, rather than raise the pitch too far and break your string.

Once you have tuned each string individually, form high E to low E,you can test to see if you were successful by using the following method:

1.Place a finger behind the fifth fret of the second string, play the note, then play the open first string.(open meaning not fretted). Both these notes should be identical,as they are both E.If the notes are slightly out you will have to adjust them till they are perfectly in unison. If they are close you can usually here a slight pulse. The closer you get to the note, the faster the pulse. If the note is spot on,there will be no pulse.

2.Place a finger behind the fourth fret of the third string, play it,then play the open second string. These notes should be identical for they are both B.

3.Place a finger behind the fifth fret of the fourth string, play it,then play the open third srting. These notes should be identical for they are both G.

4.Place a finger behind the fifth fret of the fifth string, play it,then play the open fourth string. These notes should be identical for they are both D.

5.Place a finger behind the fifth fret of the sixth string, play it,then play the open fifth string. These notes should be identical for they are both A.
