Shiney was once a simple woodcutter named Nick Chopper, who fell in love with a Munchkin girl. But the girl's cruel step mother did not want her to be happy.

So she asked the Wicked Witch to cast a spell on poor Nick. Bit by bit his body turned into shiny tin…. his hands, legs, head, even his heart.

Shiney is a bubbly person who loves a good joke. He cannot go anywhere without his oil can because his joints keep getting rusty and stuck. He is a very, very good rapper! The Wizard of Oz finally gives Shiney a heart so he could love again!
