Shakey is a dingle dangle Scarecrow with a flippy floppy hat. Because he hasn't got a brain, he cannot remember his name or even his left foot from his right foot.

So he needs lots of help from everyone to make it down the Yellow Brick Road to Oz.

Shakey cannot help falling asleep every now and then. His friends have to shout "Wake Up Shakey" to get him up and going.

Shakey is a friendly, funny fellow who loves a good country and western song. He also loves to rock and roll and shake and jump about… and likes all the boys and girls (and even the mums and dads) around to join him!

He goes to Oz to ask the Wizard for a brain. The Wizard finally gives him a brain that is "Carefully-Assorted, Double Distilled and High Efficiency".
